This time I used one of my opt-in email lists. Now this list is accustomed to receiving content and all sorts of offers. So, I sent them a simple note to ask them how they were doing in their online business (related to the opt-in list subject). The number of replies received was colossal. Many wrote to say they were not doing too well, but were optimistic. Others were prospering with their online businesses a great deal. Now if this is not an opportunity to build relationships, I don’t know what is.

For those who are puzzled at the fact that this example lacks results in the form of dollars, the truth is that the big dollars are made with people from whom you have built a relationship.
