Website Hosting Review

Web Hosting Provider Reflects on 2005

2005 – Another Successful Year…Here Comes 2006

2005 was an incredible year for the company with huge growth in Website Source's customer base.  We are proud to note that a large percentage of our new customers are referrals from satisfied hosting customers that we have had for years.

In January 2005 we launched and deployed Guard XT 5650 & Detector XT 5600 DDoS Protection Suite from Cisco Systems.  The purpose of this equipment is to minimize the possibility of DDoS attacks on Website Source Hosting network, and it is working beautifully.  This was a significant financial investment for the company, but it is already paying dividends reflected in the increased security of Website Source's network for customers.  DDoS attacks remain a constant threat to the hosting industry but Website Source Hosting’s customers can be assured that security for their websites is state-of-the-art.

Since August of 2005, the traffic on the Website Source network has doubled, bringing with it the need for additional infrastructure upgrades.  We are in the process of upgrading Website Source's Cisco firewall equipment, both main and fail over.

We are about to launch a new Site Builder tool that incorporates a graphic design tool into the interface.  There will be thousands of new website templates for Website Source customers to choose from.  The output is in HTML, so clients can take advantage of search engine optimization increases that comes along with the increase in content.  Flash intro animations are made easy, and friendly wizards will expedite the process of building a completely new, interactive site that is also search engine friendly.

The company blog was launched in January 2006.  This provides a webmaster forum to discuss events that can have a direct or indirect impact on websites.  Many of Website Source Hosting customers have already expressed their appreciation for a number of the articles written by Lois, Website Source Chief Technical Writer.

Along with all this growth and expansion comes the ever increasing need for additional web hosting technical support personnel as well as expansion of the billing department staff.  We continue to interview and hire new personnel commensurate with the company growth. Since March of 2005, Website Source in-house web hosting technical support staff has tripled in size.

Many of you may have noticed a new company in the Website Source family, LowPriceDomains.com.  While not yet an accredited domain registrar, Low Price Domains is affiliated with one of the Internet’s largest domain registrars, Enom.

Last week representatives from Tophosts.com came to Austin to visit with Website Source executive staff.  Chad Randall and his associate, Marino, came from Canada to meet personally with us and to describe the new and exciting changes that will occur at Tophosts.com in 2006.  We have consistently been awarded "one of the top 10 hosting companies world-wide" with TopHosts.com and Website Source relationship goes back to 1998.

Business activity in 2006 has taken off like a rocket. We thank you for your support and we pledge that we will continue to give you what we believe to be the finest web hosting technical support in the industry.

Website hosting customer feedback

I've been with WebsiteSource for 5 years now and they have been great. I'm a Reseller and all my customers have been happy with their services. I had one problem with a domain registration for a new website and Ben from their Live Chat fixed it right away. Keep up the great work.
