Active Server Pages (ASPs) are Web pages that contain server-side scripts in addition to the usual mixture of text and HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) tags. To distinguish asp web pages from normal HTML pages, Active Server Pages are given the ".asp" extension.

The following are few examples of ASP applications:

• Put your employee handbook online, rather than printing copies that are soon obsolete. You can even build a self-service application that allows employees to update their own information online.
• Give visitors a personalized view of information on your Web site, and automatically flag items that have been added or changed since their last visit.
• Connect customer orders from an online storefront to an existing inventory database and order-processing system.

How to Get Started with Active Server Pages:

• Complete this online form to have ASP enabled on your account(s). Active Server Pages (ASP) is included with all Shared hosting plans for no additional fee. Please specify which domain name you would like to use with ASP. A customer service technician will enable ASP within 2-3 business days upon receiving your request.* Once your account has been enabled with ASP, you will receive an email with details.
